Earlier this month we had a few days of outside recess, but after an ice storm last week, and blizzard conditions yesterday, we are back to inside recess. Over the years, I have accumulated quite a few playthings for the recess cabinet, so it's kind of interesting to see what the kids choose. A few people play games, but for the most part, the boys like to build, either with legos, K-nex or dominoes. The girls seem to like to draw. Some choose paper, but the little white boards we use for math, are by far the most popular.
