There is beauty all around us. We just need to take the time to notice the richness in our lives. These are the many things for which I am grateful.

Photo #210: The New Kids
At 8:15 this morning, the men from Loziers arrived to install my new furnace and central air conditioner. My old furnace and air conditioner were senior citizens in the heating and cooling world, and after forty years, they were removed from the house today. Everything is up and running, and the house is so comfortable. Meet the new kids; my new Lennox energy efficient air conditioner and furnace. After the last two weeks of living without air conditioning, I couldn't be happier . . . . . ka-ching . $. $.$.$. broke, but happy!

Broke but happy. Well, the money you've spent is nothing compared to the pleasure that these two had brought to you. :) Just remember that the furnace and the air conditioner are a great investment. It will be a shame if they broke down easily. :)
ReplyDeleteHow are your “kids” doing? It's been almost three years, so I hope that your furnace and air con are still in running order. I'm sure you could've done that with proper maintenance. Although these units are intended to last, they are prone to breaking down especially when you're using them very often.
ReplyDeleteIt’s very nice of you to treat your furnace and your air conditioner like your kids. Well, that’s what we really do to those things that are very dear to us. We do our best to give them the proper care and attention they deserve. You've had them for more than three years now. I hope that they are still in good running condition! :)
