Fiber Art

I went to the Iowa Historical Building to see a Civil War exhibit.  We were just leaving when I saw this display of Fiber Art.  I really liked it.

Checking Out the Historical Building

We took our field trip to the Iowa Historical Building on April 5th.  We had a great time.  I made little minibooks called Pocketmods for the kids to take notes in.  You can make one yourself at Pocketmod.com.  Kids examined the exhibits and took notes.

Others tried to become part of the exhibits.

Age of the Mammoth

I saw this guy in the Atrium of the Iowa Historical Building.  The fourth graders will be taking a field trip here in April. I think the kids will be very excited when they see these guys.
