Squash Harvest

I just love the colors of fall, inside or out.  I am also fascinated by all the shapes and colors of the squash that is harvested at this time of year.

Gladiator

On September 26th we had a day with no students.  It was all day PD for teachers.  Kids or not, our Chief Engineer is always hard at work.  John climbed on his Chariot, and it is called a Chariot, and used the opportunity to work on floors.  If that thing moved faster, he'd be having lots of fun working on the halls.

Fall Shopping

In the fall, I always like taking photos in front of Hy-Vee, where they display the fall flowers and pumpkins. That's where I saw these beautiful white mums.  They have mums in every color and decorative pots to go with them.

Winnie is a Camping Dog

Last weekend was Family Campout 2012.  This was Winnie's very first camping trip.  She loved it, so now she's a camping dog.

Lots of Zucchini

I saw lots of zucchini at the farmers market.  There were normal sized ones, and one giant one.

Fiber Art

I went to the Iowa Historical Building to see a Civil War exhibit.  We were just leaving when I saw this display of Fiber Art.  I really liked it.
